2026 Event Details:
Saturday ● July 25, 2026 ● Noon to 4 p.m. ● Downtown Deer Lodge, MT
Categories include Chicken, Pork Ribs, Beef Brisket, and Open
You must enter all 4 categories listed above to be considered for Grand/Reserve Champion.
NO Electricity will be provided, must bring your own quiet running generator if needed.
Please refer to the Cookoff Rules for requirements and clarifications.
New this year: You will have the option to sell beverages provided by DDL/CCF for two Tasty Tokens a piece, and will receive 40% of the total amount sold. Sales to be determined by remaining inventory returned to DDL/CCF. You will sell NO OTHER BEVERAGES.
New this year: Western Meat Block at 820 Dewey Blvd., Butte, MT, (406)494-4319 (talk to Chad) has agreed to sponsor the event, by offering cook-off contests reduce pricing on meats purchased for this year’s event.
